Being from Atlantis can be a challenge on a normal day.

But even more so when you have to answer that ever popular question, “Where are you from?”

Almost every day we come across this question, and sometimes we lie because we are ashamed of our community, or just lie because Atlantis doesn’t sound “cool” enough, as with other communities in Cape Town.

But one wonder boy who is making us super proud, and one who’s making a name for himself nationally, is 12-year-old Dwayne Minnies. He is truly spreading the gospel of how proud he is to be an “Atlantis-kind

Ask yourself how you can contribute to making Atlantis a better place and be a role model for other youngsters.
