Weskus Nuus, Radio Atlantis and X-treme Youth, in partnership with other community organisations, hosted the first #MyAtlantis Pride Festival on 30 September at Dollies Centre.
It was also the official launch of the #MyAtlantis Movement, which aims to empower, motivate and inspire young people through skills development and by giving them a platform to showcase their talent.
Around 26 local artists performed throughout the day. Magician Janian Fortune also performed. Balloon maker and life coach Mendl Lategan, Nompumelelo Prusent of World Vision and Mr SA finalist Morgan Jacobs were the motivational speakers on the day.
