The City of Cape Town will replace the water pipelines in your area to improve the local water service. This will serve to rectify the water pipe-burst problems affecting the Saxonsea area to help ensure minimal water bursts for local residences in the future.
Water mains will be replaced in the following streets: Enchantress, Fairfield, Grosvernor, Fernande, Figilante, Hoop, Francis, Fame streets, Kent Crescent, Lisboa Street, Middleburg Street and Matheran Street in Atlantis.
Residents, please note that the City has appointed Nejeni Construction and Project Management to do this work, and their work may well be adjacent to your premises. You will be able to recognise the workmen by their reflective safety vests (bibs), with the company details clearly on them.
The contractor’s work commenced in mid-February, its time frame set at approximately six months, and occurs on weekdays between 07:30 and 17:00.
