Registrations now open for sport coaching summit

The legendary basketball coach John Wooden once said: “You haven’t taught until they have learnt”.

This statement has substantial relevance for the coaching profession. The third Sport Coaching Summit creates a platform on which coaches can gain and share knowledge and practical experience gained over the years.

This not-to-be-missed event will include presentations from top experts who will provide insight into the field of coaching, coach educators, sport science, sport psychology and skills development.

When and where?

The third Sport Coaching Summit will take place on 13 and 14 September at the Department of Sport Science, Stellenbosch University.

Who should attend?

If you are a teacher, head of a sport department, coach, parent, sport coordinator, involved in school or club sports in any capacity, please join and learn from us, and we will learn from you too.

How much will it cost?

Full summit: R750

Included in the package: name tag and lanyard, golf shirt, summit goodie bag which includes a pen, Sport Coaching Summit programme, various products from sponsors. Also included: refreshments, presentations and an opportunity to exhibit as a sport role-player/participant, as part of the summit package.

Delegates will also be entered into all lucky draws and receive an electronic attendance certificate. Cost of pre-summit workshops will be confirmed on 1 March.
