Cape Town Mayor Dan Plato continued his community outreach in Atlantis on Friday 26 March, when 1 000 F of soup, which is made in the Blue Ribbon kitchen, and 350 loaves of bread supplied by Blue Ribbon were handed out to the community of Witsand in Atlantis. He said it is with these partnerships that it’s possible for those in need to have a warm meal.

Since the start of the pandemic last year more than 260 soup kitchens across the city have been supported with equipment and dry ingredients to feed residents in need.

This assistance will continue.
