Acting SAPS station commander Lt Col Micheal Ledimo and his staff would like to wish all the people of Atlantis, Mamre, Pella and Witsand a blessed Christmas.
“We have enjoyed success and experienced sadness during 2017,” he said. “However, with our continued partnership with the Community Policing Forum, neighbourhood watches, individuals from the community as well as our other partners, such as NGOs, businesses and local media, we can grow our 2017 successes and proceed with our vision throughout 2018.
“Please be vigilant at the beach, your home, when out and about, doing your shopping or drawing cash at ATMs. Our passion and drive is to combat crime, and we do not want you to become a victim of crime.
Also remember to use alcohol responsibly and always to keep a beady eye on children, that they may remain safe and not be a source of many tears shed.
