Velocity Athletic Club, in association with Western Province Athletics, will host a street athletics event today (Tuesday 13 March) in Grosvenor Avenue, Saxonsea, Atlantis (near Saxonsea Primary school and the Busy Corner Shop).
Registration will take place between 14:00 until 14:20 and the first race starts at 14:30. Categories that can be entered are as follows: 6-10 years: 50 m; 11-12 years: 80 m; 13-17 years: 100 m; 14-17 years: 400 m; 15-17 years: 800 m, and the 200 m walk/race that is open to everyone.
All schools are encouraged to come along and participate in the Velocity Athletic Club/WPA street athletics events. Entry is free.
