Marie Stopes South Africa extended their number of Women’s Healthcare Centres to 17 last week, with the opening of a brand new centre in Atlantis, which provides a full range of reproductive health services to the community.

Marie Stopes’ goal is to continue increasing access to much needed reproductive health services for all women in South Africa, said Pamela Mudley.

The centre provides quality affordable and comprehensive services and is staffed by compassionate and highly trained medical professionals, who don’t question anyone’s choices or try to change anyone’s mind. It is simply there to provide safe, dependable care without criticism or judgment.

Marie Stopes South Africa’s mission is to help women and couples to have children by choice, not chance. Their vision is for every birth to be desired.

The new Atlantis centre is located at the Wesfleur Private Clinic and offers the following services:
. A range of long and short acting contraceptives
. Emergency contraception
. Women wellness exams
. Pap smear/cervical cancer screening
. Screening and management of STIs
. STI testing
. HIV counselling and testing
. Pregnancy tests and scans
. Safe pregnancy options.
